Graffiti Friday #37

Venice’s never ending maze of narrow streets and dead ends ensures that at some point, you will get lost. But that’s part of the fun…except when it begins to get dark and you can’t find the stop on the Vaporetto’s route that will get you back to the train station that will get you back to the hotel! On a more optimistic note, it did allow us to explore areas of this beautiful and unique city that were off the beaten path and this, of course, included plenty of graffiti with references to Italian art and culture, politics, and sometimes, just the odd flower.

  1. Fascinating! And yes, I’d be scared to be lost in a street maze in a foreign country after dark! You are brave! Glad you found your way home!
