Artist: Tuttomondo by Keith Haring

In 1989, artist Keith Haring created a fabulous mural on the south facade of the Church of St. Anthony in Pisa. This past summer, I was fortunate enough to stand in front of it, with a big smile planted on my face. His simple, playful images tend to have that effect. The mural is about peace and harmony, and filled with creatures and characters representing nature, birth, and overcoming evil. It sends a beautiful message which you can read more about here.
This is delightful! How fortunate you were to actually stand in front of it! I like the hula-hooper and the person cradling the infant. Very unusual!
Yes, it is filled with so many wonderful characters!
