I couldn’t help but notice all the Halloween themed bottles at the liquor store, and since it didn’t take much enticement on my part, I ended up with a nice little collection to display. There’s not a whole lot of work involved other than relaxing, having a few drinks and lightly embellishing the bottles with a few decorations. That part, the kids can help with.
Materials
- Halloween themed bottles
- Halloween decorations
- glue gun
Instructions
Once you’ve finished imbibing your heart out, rinse and dry the bottles, and decorate. No labels required!
I love this (and Rogue’s Dead Guy Ale)! I did a whole post on Fall Alcohol and all the fun packaging…wish I had saved the bottles, but I will next year! Pinning for next year though!
Thanks Danni. The Dead Guy Ale was actually quite good! Would love to see your Fall Alcohol post. Will come by to look for it.
Ah, the good ole alcohol post! Always makes for a great post! Love the labels and especially the skeletons! 🙂
Ah yes, I’ve crossed over to the dark side. This also fits well in the lazy craft category, since the bottles even come with their own labels 🙂
Oh man, I love those lazy afternoons!
Uh huh!
Too funny – I hope the kids are not asking to taste some of the witch brew 🙂 Thanks for sharing with Afterschool!
My daughter actually did, but finds beer “disgusting” as it should be at 13 years old! Thanks for dropping by.
Our groceries have the liquor in a seperate area so I never see those aisles and great labels. I would love the vodka skull (and have asked bars if I could buy one) but they are SOOO expensive!
Gosh, I never looked into the price. I just asked my husband to buy one for me when he was traveling, since they weren’t available here at the time. I will certainly treasure it!
When they designed the bottles for their market, do you think they imagined moms crafting with kids? I love to repurpose so now I have a “reason” to run out to the store. Thanks for sharing at Inspire Us Thursday on Organized 31.
They probably just imagined moms drinking and crafting. That’s a good title for a blog!
