The intention was to make snowman magnets. The results looked more like a cross between a snowman and a turkey, and that’s exactly how they remained because these little oddballs were too adorable to mess with.
If I don’t get a chance to post again before the end of the year, do have a wonderful holiday season with your friends and families, and I’ll see you in the New Year.
Materials
- Crayola Model Magic in white
- magnets
- googly eyes
- white feathers
- orange pencil crayon
- pencil sharpener
- white glue
- glue gun
Instructions
Ready to make your turkey snowman magnets? Sharpen an orange pencil crayon to make a long, sharp point. Keep sharpening until it breaks off. This will be the nose.
Roll some Model Magic in the palm of your hand to create a ball shape. Press the pencil crayon nose into the centre to make a small hole. Remove it, add a small amount of white glue to the base, and press it back in the hole. Remove any excess glue (toothpicks are helpful for this).
Using a glue gun: add googly eyes, a small section from a white feather to the back, and finally the magnet. Allow the Model Magic to dry for the indicated time on the package. How easy was that?
Very cute and funny magnets! Hope you have a very Merry Christmas too!
