Laminated Bookmarks

Making bookmarks is a great activity for children of all ages. They’re a wonderful way to preserve drawings, and they also make really nice gifts.

Bookmarks collected over the years

Laminated bookmarks

Materials

  • white card stock, cut into 2″ x 8″ strips
  • markers
  • access to a laminator

Instructions

Make drawings on both sides of pre-cut strips of card stock. Obviously, you can cut them to whatever size you prefer. My dimensions are only a suggestion. Once completed, laminate them. When trimming  them, remember to leave a small edge around the card so they don’t open up. If you don’t have your own laminator, you can go to copying and printing shops like Kinkos.
